Special Supporter of National MOTTEP and its 20th Anniversary
In partnership with the Kidney Foundation, the Bi-Annual Teen Summit –Healthy Teens: Healthy Tomorrow was held at Cuyahoga Community College – Eastern Campus on October 14, 2011. The event included three rotating educational sessions, lunch and an interactive closing. Approximately 150 young adults from Cleveland high schools attended the event.
CORE-MOTTEP partnered with the University of Pittsburgh for its second annual Kountz/Callender/Rappaport transplant series, titled “Transplantation Disparities: Current Trends and Future Prospects.”
The symposium focused on trends in minority transplantation, maximizing kidney transplantation, alternative options (presumed consent panel discussion), health challenges unique to the minority community and more.

In recognition of National Minority Donor Awareness Day, MOTTEP of TN recognizes the members of Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church and Pastor H. Bruce Maxwell for their ongoing support of MOTTEP of TN.
